Golf Australia (GA) engaged edit media to manage the design, build and launch of a new website - playgolf.com.au - to coincide with sponsorship of the President's Cup at Royal Melbourne.
GA wanted the new site to be user friendly and engage all age and community groups. Information encourages men, women, kids, seniors and indigenous groups to participate.
Using the campaign theme of ‘Playing golf just got easier’, advertising agency Shannon & Co created two TVCs which directed viewers to the Play Golf website.
The commercials received extensive coverage on course at Royal Melbourne and national television coverage of the event.
During the event the site received 6000 unique visitors, 25,000 page views and 235 sign ups.
Web statistics tell us the most popular pages after the homepage are 'Social
